Performance Tracking
How administrators, teachers, and parents monitor assignment performance and grades
Performance Tracking
“Performance” in Lumus LMS covers assignment scores and grades shown in the Performance screen, plus the wider analytics you may run from reporting areas. The entry points differ by role.
Teachers — Performance page
Teachers should use the sidebar entry Performance (under Teaching), which opens /dashboard/performance.
- Select a class from the dropdown (only your assigned classes appear).
- The table lists student, assignment, numeric score, and letter grade (when recorded).
- Use Grade Management (button on the page) to open the deeper grade workflow at
/dashboard/performance/classwhen you need to adjust or enter grades in bulk.
If no class is selected, the page prompts you to choose one before loading rows.
Parents — child performance
Parents have Performance under Parent Portal. The same performance API is scoped to their linked children so they can see how assignments were scored without accessing other families’ data.
Administrators — school-wide insight
Administrator accounts do not always show a top-level “Performance” menu item, but administrators still monitor outcomes through:
- Reports & Analytics — Institution-wide and cohort reporting.
- Assignments and classes areas — Operational views of work assigned and completion.
If your organization grants direct access to /dashboard/performance to admin users, the page behaves like the non-teacher path: it loads the performance list without the teacher-only class filter UI.
